I specifically use Songbird ‘Cooling and Soothing’ Balm or 'Warming and Easing Balm' for distinct purposes. These two balms can target different needs; the Cooling and Soothing balm reduces inflammation, eases muscle soreness and provides a cooling sensation on hot joints. Whereas, the Warming and Easing balm promotes circulation, warms up stiff muscles and soothes chronic pain with a gentle warming effect. I also use Songbird "sports" liquiwax which contains essential oils of Manuka (from the same plant used to make Manuka honey) and Lemon. There is also a blend of high quality Calendula Paste from New Zealand which is a wonderful natural ingredient known for its soothing, healing and anti-inflammatory properties.
