  • Holistic Hands and Feet Massage

A hands and feet massage can be therapeutic. The health benefits of massage therapy are well-documented, and a hands/feet massage is no exception. Having your hands massaged feels good, it can help ease muscle tension, and it may even reduce pain. This treatment is very gentle and I often perform it on cancer patients, elderly or long term health conditions. Studies have shown that having a professional hand massage just once a week may help reduce the pain associated with many conditions, including arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and neuropathy. Whereas, foot massage improves circulation, stimulates muscles, reduces tension, and often eases pain. I use Margaret Dabbs 'Intensive Hydrating Hand Lotion' A luxurious treatment enriched hand lotion uniquely containing anti-ageing ingredients Hempseed Oil, White Water Lily and Kelp, which are usually reserved for facial skincare products. Instantly hydrates and plumps the skin, improves skin firmness, elasticity and collagen levels and boosts the skin’s moisture levels. The hand lotion is beautifully scented with Geranium and Mandarin and is gorgeous to use. On your feet I use Margaret Dabbs 'Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion' This gorgeous, silky, light and non-greasy “walking on air” foot lotion will transform your feet. Use every day to hydrate, illuminate and soften the skin of the feet, and to reduce hard skin build-up. Scented with lemon myrtle, this Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion is a delight to use. It is suitable for all skin types, diabetics, and use during pregnancy. Margaret Dabbs products are completely cruelty-free brand, they uphold these values and confirm that they do not test on animals, nor do they intend to in the future. The products are made in the UK and use sustainable sourced ingredients and recyclable packaging. Solely Holistic is proud to be part of the Guild Green Salon Scheme.

  • Classic Reflexology

Before your treatment, I will complete a consultation. I will ask about your health history and any specific concerns you may have. This helps me tailor the treatment to your needs. You will be asked to remove your shoes, socks and roll up trousers to just under the knee; and then get onto the comfortable heated massage table. A pillow will be given for your head and the bed can be raised or lowered to suit your preference. I also have blankets if you feel the cold. During the treatment, I will use my thumbs, fingers and hands to apply gentle to medium pressure to different reflex points on your feet. A reflexology treatment is a relaxing and non-invasive therapy so you should not feel any pain. You might feel sensations such as tingling or warmth in other parts of your body as I work on specific points. Afterwards, I use hot mitts to wipe your feet so that the wax doesn't go on your shoes or clothing and heated towels to dry your feet. I then finish my using soothing foot cream.

  • Indian Head Massage

Your Indian Head Massage begins with a warm towel and guided breathing to help you unwind and settle into relaxation. A soothing aromatherapy back massage follows, focusing on the neck and shoulders to ease tension and release tightness using slow, flowing movements. The treatment continues with a calming scalp massage, with the option of warmed rosemary oil to nourish the hair and enhance relaxation. You’ll then be guided to turn onto your back, where the treatment flows into a gentle massage of the arms and hands, followed by a relaxing facial massage using a nourishing aromatherapy oil. To finish, the scalp massage continues, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed, restored, and cared for.
