Before your treatment, I will complete a consultation. I will ask about your health history and any specific concerns you may have. This helps me tailor the treatment to your needs. You will be asked to remove your shoes and socks and roll up trousers to just under the knee. You will need to test the water to see if the temperature of the foot spa is to your liking. The premium foot spa will have epsom salts to soothe tired feet along with bubbles and infrared lights to relieve inflammation. Then an indulgent foot scrub will be used to soften your feet. Heated towels will be used to dry your feet ready for your treatment. You will then be asked to get comfortable on the heated massage table. A pillow will be given for your head and the bed can be raised or lowered to suit your preference. I also have blankets if you feel the cold. During the treatment, I will use my thumbs, fingers and hands to apply gentle to medium pressure to different reflex points on your feet. A reflexology treatment is a relaxing and non-invasive therapy so you should not feel any pain. You might feel sensations such as tingling or warmth in other parts of your body as I work on specific points. Afterwards, I use hot mitts to wipe your feet so that the wax doesn't go on your shoes or clothing and heated towels to dry your feet. I then finish my using soothing foot cream and a foot massage.
